I, Other

The work is composed of a series of self-portraits that I realize by wearing the clothes of other people, encountered on trips or art residencies.

I am interested in the idea I make of the Other, full of empty spaces onto which I inevitably project my own aspirations and shadows.

As the camera shoots, I try to step into the shoes of the Other, mimicking their expressions and attitudes.

To accompany the portrait, I sometimes write a short text that reminds me of something about our encounter.
